Plymouth Merchant Navy Memorial
There is a project to build a *Monument on Plymouth Hoe to the men and women of all nationalities who serve, or have served, in British registered vessels. This is rather than simply a memorial to those who died in the two wars and is registered charity 1167934.
We now have full approval from Plymouth City Council for the Hoe site - in front of the Royal Navy memorial - and for the monument style itself.

Persons or organisations donating more than £1,000 would be invited to the commemoration ceremony which will be performed by Princess Anne as part of the Mayflower 400 celebrations in 2020.
