A programme on TV on Tuesday (PBS America) and next week shows 4 students going though exams and there first trip to sea (Mearsk) to become deck officers, one of them sat in the Captains chair on the bridge, he will not do that again. Glasgow and Warsash schools were shown. An interesting programme to watch which will remind some mates of their early training.
