No! I asked that question -- the iron bars are welded to circular baffles within the cubes -- (Kinda like the old rat traps we used on mooring lines) so they cannot pull through the material. The bars (and discs) though are very easy to turn with the caveat that it you do turn them without stopping them they will continue to turn until you do stop them. (Fascinating, What?)
