Tom, I know that I will probably regret this, but what is an ECDIS? Perhaps you would be so kind as to tell me over a very large Dom. I would have used a champagne flute icon but as we don't have one the pint will have to do and the way I am feeling, maybe I should have a pint of Dom. Is that going a bit too far?

Careful Red. A simple explanation would be Chart Display and Information System however you might find an Exhibitionist Captain Desperate for Inappropriate Sex.

He's in the chart room checking his chronometer, Red-17. I think it's a 48 hour one, and at the moment it's showing Pluto past Mickey Mouse.

Well, I enjoyed my little chat with the ace of Spades, her Mum was Bert, our old second plaggy steward, he stood a little too close to the bacon slicer one day apparently. After that he never looked back, but eventually turned things around and it was all straightforward after that. Lovely girl.

Good job the old steward didn't sit on the slicer by accident.

He would have got a little behind in his orders.

Oh, I am so pleased to know that the crew are behaving themselves this time 'round. I knew you could do it and I'm so pleased for you. At least this is one port of call that you will be welcomed back to.

Red -- I hate mornings so I tend to slide departure time into the pm. but you wouldn't want a big English breakfast after lunch, would you? The thing is to just relax and go with the flow.

That little bit of plastic must have been some powerful -- the sign is a full sized billboard. and the bar was 3 blocks inland.

Cutouts -- let go all. Bow thruster to port. Stop. Rudder port 10. Dead slow ahead both. (Good, we missed the sign) Pilot ------ what pilot -- Oh! the chap running along the quay waving his arms. Full ahead both. Green button please Tmac. (If you're back?) Leaving port party on the pool deck at once - come as you are.

Glad we are all back on course, whatever that might be.
I've been sat here drinking a few Drambuie shandys, only in a half pint glass - mustn't overdo it.

That's what the undertakers are afraid of. Doubled their insurance they have and it's already short straw gets Sir W when the time comes (we all, of course, hope this is a long time in the coming). It's nothing to do with the fairness of your skin but that it encompasses a large volume and only has a small pipe from which the alcohol can escape. It's not even safe when you're running on empty - that gas is surely, surely, not inert.
