That is how it was delivered, except it took two stewards to lug the bucket down. We need the injun room staff to be well and able to take a good sound insult.

No show without Punch, and he does resemble...

Wait till he is better.

He kept the tray, of course. Something about white metal bearings for the alarm clock, seemed fair to me.

Actually, here in Canuck Land I am usually referred to as a Limey. (I take that as a compliment!) Steward, just a little slivver of lime on the rim of my Double Cuba Libre, par favor.

Steering flat? Grease? Flat out, big red buttons, white metal clock bearings, Cuba Liberation Front cocktails? I'm totally confused. It all started when I sat on that big red seat in the wheelhouse by accident and the scenery started to speed up.

I'm going for a lie down myself. I may be coming down with something.

anybody know if we have the services of a Padre on board?......... I wish to enquire if there is a God what have I done to annoy him? Have never been as sick in my life, just crawled under the floor plates and hoped to die in peace but no such luck, the torture just goes on and on.....

Sir William should I never emerge again from the pit, Squeek has the keys to the funnel suite and the combination to my wallet......... Just stuff me in the boiler and blow the residue up the tubes

Tmac, I am communicating with you from behind an antiseptic soaked screen as I don't wish to get your plague. The Plastics have instructions to attend to your every need and I hope you get very much better soon. Ask for anything and it will be supplied.

Fellow crew, he must be ill, he is talking about opening his wallet and has not asked for a drink. We must get him better.

Very sorry to hear that our Chief Injuneer is under the weather. Can one of the catering department fill up a pint glass with a selection from all the optics in the bar in the First Class Lounge? I don't know if it will have any curative properties, but if Tmac downs it in one go, the resultant hangover will be so bad, that whatever ails him at the moment will seem quite trivial in comparison.

Hope you recover soon Tmac. Squeek has been given a crash course in lever pulling and engine minding by Farmer John and Sir William, so we should be fine to proceed on our present course. All duty helmsmen have been instructed to only steer for the smooth bits.

If you''re coming down with something, best make it a case of Four Bells you are coming down with to the Pax lounge. (Forget the lay down!)

That sounds like a great plan, Tom.

I did lay down some wine once, but got bored waiting and drank it all.

This is the only thing to do that makes sense. You expect it to change, to improve, but you need to see how it is going on and to see it isn't getting any worse.

Dartskipper, you are a wise man.

Must have a little check on where we are, and also on where we are going. We must be getting somewhere or else, like our sagacious comrades wine, why are we doing this?

Rutile, as I recall, and a man with brown envelopes.

I have nailed a new plastic five pound note to the outside of Tmac's cabin door... now it's gone. Blooming quick, I think he is getting a little better.

Sir William, be aware Squeak does not get the best cheese, after the last time. Certainly not the Camembert, the ventilation is not up to it.

I think we are in about the right area to start working out where we should be, as opposed to where we are. Tom, please, where is this stuff supposed to be delivered, I made a note but my Etcha-Sketch got turned over, I can just make out the coast of N America, I keep thinking it is a radar display.
