Identify the warship in build.....

#474 - I believe the location is Newport News yard.
So, of those built there I would say it is USS Enterprise. |

The 965 bedstead radar leads me to Fleet Radar Pickets. Four of them, converted later Battle class, known as ‘Battle class AD conversions’. Agincourt, Aisne, Barrosa, Corunna. |

#462 - nearer ship is one of Aisne, Agincourt, Barrosa or Corunna (probably Agincourt - part of 27 ES 1964-66) and the further ship is a Ca class destroyer (not frigate), more difficult to identify but what's visible of the bridge behind the Battle's "B" turret looks like the so-called "frigate bridge" fitted to Caesar, Caprice, Cambrian and Cassandra.
|
"USS Enterprise:"
Correct. |
