Sir William, shall I deploy your elephant catching balloon? The conditions seem favourable and I know you hate to miss a good catch.

I would perhaps admit to having a little too much blood in my alcohol stream :)

O u8sed to be a nurse Tom......1000ml of four bells three times a day should put you right mate

Varley 17th January 2019 11:37

And up it to a bottle at four bells for an obstinate anaemia. Although mine would be Lambs Gravy.

Farmer John 17th January 2019 14:49

Hmm, I think we will need the elephant catching squadron, things could get very busy.

Wild elephants in Aus ??? Must admit I was surprised this evening when in a local restaurant for the Admiral's 80th. birthday that there on the menu was an offering for an "Aussie Mule" ---containing Bundaberg rum, ginger ale, lime juice and I forget the other minor ingredients -- I'll have to go back when someone else is the dedicated driver. :bounce:

They've got camels there, so it's not surprising there are heffalumps too. Pink or grey, blue or white, just be careful where you tread at night......;)

billyboy 18th January 2019 22:36

They also have them things with 8 hairy black legs so be careful where you lay too!

Do you mean the String Quartet from the local women's prison? I'll hear nothing said against them. I do think I might stay awake if shut in a room with them on my own.

billyboy 18th January 2019 23:22

Now with 8 hairy black legs, there is the possibility of 4 Black Bushes in the vicinity. Hopefully Tmac won't get too carried away.

Varley 19th January 2019 12:20

Tmac1720 19th January 2019 13:17

I understand the enjoyment of a fine Havana is enhanced if the end is kept in a moist condition, although I believe that may entail a small residue of a salty taste. :smoking:

billyboy 19th January 2019 22:20

Black Helmet?....been doung the scavenge ports again has he.

Tom Alexander 22nd January 2019 07:35

Got a tank truck of Bundaberg heading down from Queensland so we can top up the Bundy deep tank.
Suggest we all line up with our tin cups to catch any drippage from the supply line. :pint:

Varley 22nd January 2019 10:24

Did Sir W give E-S Master's leave and a shore pass? Or has Tmac got him on field days and nights? 11 days since he's been in the smoke room. 14 and we should start a search,

Oops, cancel that he was on in the middle of the night.

Someone has to worry about a liquid in a glass other than alcohol.
