XENIX

I remember XENIX on an old 386 processor desktop on which was installed a stability programme. Ran beautifully for years, then some 'expert' deckie played with it................

I used Unix in the late 80's early 90's with the 'you know who' boys on Sun Solaris Microsystems. For its day a powerful operating system. I still have a Linux PC using Ubuntu or Mint (swappable C drives.)

You can install a Linux Subsystem into Windows 10 although I haven't personally tried it.

WE had a library system that had PICK as it's operating system. Oh boy, that cost quite a bit.

"Pick was originally implemented as the Generalized Information Retrieval Language System (GIRLS)"
