London Lager was much less palatable.

Re; #19. On the Mobil Astral in 1967, I also got 'beer money' from the Mate for his paperwork. In this case, following a visit to Bataan - as in Gen. McArthur - it was San Miguel Pale Pilsen. Amazingly enough the very same looking bottles can be bought in Tesco today !!! The tinnie may well have been VB, though I seem to remember that was blue not green.

Yes the bottles look the same, the beer is now brewed in the UK, has dropped it's alc% by 1% and tastes like something unrepeatable. Very sad.
