He, at least, is not yet minded to resign….

If the Conservative Party membership had been on the Titanic.......
They would have voted for another iceberg.

Varley 25th October 2022 14:07

But not one with any form of fixed penalty record or with a charge of misleading the House of Commons hanging over it.

Why is it that something this bunch of no-longer selfless greasy-pole-climbers consider this such a great sin when, come election time, they all practise grander deception on an industrial scale?

Rather like the 'No more oil' lobby, in their confectionary influenced targeting their friend and ally, Guido would have garnered wider electoral support had he published his manifesto in the cellars of the lower house.

(Friends, Romans, Seafarers, I come ........... - That does not mean I think the back stabbers were honest in the way Boris was sidinged)

A thought for the day. Solar power is the way forward. However, it won't happen overnight.

Am I the only reader that has to use sunglasses when reading Malcolm G and his wee hen.

Varley 29th October 2022 18:50

How can you sex it just by the avatar view? Usually with birds, the brighter and more decorative the plumage the more likely it is a to be a male. I suppose it could be a wee free hen, they don't go in for gay anything.

Malcolm G 29th October 2022 18:59

Hen? As in domestic fowl? No, wrong species.
The choice was, as Avatars should be, an oblique indication of the actual person.
In this case, completely Kwackers.

Stop the ‘bot’ ?

Malcolm G 1st April 2023 19:00

points to ponder...

Now that the Scottish First Minister is a second generation from Pakistani heritage.
And the UK Prime Minister is a second generation from Indian Heritage.

So maybe one of the first things on the joint agenda is the 'partition' of the UK.

I have one, Malcolm, but its not a tree - It is a telephone plant! They will even grow in just water! I have one in the corner of my greenhouse.
Rgds.
Dave

Malcolm G 25th September 2023 22:07

Yes Dave but what about the big yellow root and the nearby blue root ?
Do you think it will hurt if I just put an axe through them? :bounce:

Dartskipper 26th September 2023 00:23

Something might go "Booooom". Remember Richard Harris in the film "Juggernaut?"

Engine Serang 26th September 2023 06:00

I only remember Richard Harris as Lawrence of Arabia and for being married to Elizabeth Taylor.

Varley 26th September 2023 12:15

He starred in four of my favourites: The Wreck of the Mary Deare, Gladiator, Patriot Games and Harry Potter.

Lancsman 26th September 2023 12:57

Peter O`Toole played Lawrence of Arabia & as far as I can see he was never married to Liz Taylor, so sorry some crossed thoughts gents.
