Cheap, but good haircuts on #4 hatch. Arab barber also has "duty free" perfume in the secret compartment under his tonsorial tool compartment. $1 an oz. for Chanel No. 5. Pull the little rubber plunger to make sure it is the real deal. :)

Varley 13th August 2019 10:16

That Channel 5 smells a lot like a youthful Gripewater and Seaweed blend I had been developing for the grout-free-spa-experience run out of the funnel sauna complex (see Chief Plastico for prices, available only when superheat drains are open). I'd warn against buying any myself the flash point is so low a drop on the heated rocks is enough to blow the bloody doors off.

A coincidental post, however, as I had my routine tonsorial maintenance done yesterday and must now go and prune the beard.

My (lady) barber is quite keen on the orificeal trimmings and roguebrow pruning so that only left the beard for me to do.

She has never suggested that she should mow that particular patch of scrubland.

sounds like a Hairy situation David.

Busy here for the next three weeks as we have relatives over here from the UK.Yours truly being the designated driver. Hair raising driving here as no is trained to drive and many dont even hold a licence.

Varley 15th August 2019 13:05

Sir W, No, now less hairy just in a formerly hairier region (leaving to one side E-S's oxter fixation for the moment). I presently have a house guest who normally lives in Cambodia (back to consult the NHS!). I gather the situation road pilot-wise is similar.

billyboy 15th August 2019 22:53

Indeed it is David. There appears to be a severe lack of intelligence on the roads here.

Get out !!!! And I thought it was a World-Wide plague that had spread to Canada many years ago.

Tmac1720 16th August 2019 16:40

Try driving in Vietnam :shock::shock: scared the crap out of me especially at night.

billyboy 16th August 2019 23:15

I learned many years ago to never drive at night here too Tom. If you see how they drive in the daylight its bad enough. I rode home from the city with my stepson drivinga few days ago. the amount of vehicles with NO lights at all is frightening. many vehicles are from Japan (surplus) which means the headlight lenses are throwing the light the wrong way. the resulting glare means you cant see the guys with no tail lights.

Engine Serang 17th August 2019 06:11

Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines! Jesus Christ who are you kidding?

I had a friend once who had driven a tank in Vietnam. He had a nervous break down.

JUst looked out the port hole, no sign of land....unless of course its on the other side of us. must take a walk over there after my morning scotch.

Tom Alexander 18th August 2019 05:34

Confirming that indeed the land is on the starboard side. View of the city of Casablanca over the bow.

(From my Latin at school, Casa Blanca means "white house" which begs the question as to whether the Donald has a golf resort here too?? :balloon:

Varley 18th August 2019 10:01

Domus alba is it? Where in the name of Ecdis is that?

(I trust he wasn't the sort of Latin Master that suggested Ascendo vestri colonia was a field trip to Panama).

That's what my kids used to call those little brown bits of TP that stuck to your buttocks after going to #2. :(

Varley 19th August 2019 10:44

That's what attracts the seagulls.

Introduce them to All Bran. Problem solved and no need to discuss #2's or poopies around the dinner table.
