Splits eh! saw a young girl upside down a pole do that once.

Engine Serang 7th August 2022 09:37

Was she the one firing ping pong balls into the pint glass? :big_tongue:

Engine Serang 8th August 2022 20:19

I seen it on Opportunity Knocks or Britain's Got Talent. Great family viewing and a welcome boost for Table Tennis.

Oh you've been there tmac. Yes and fortunately it was NOT my glass they landed in heh heh

Engine Serang 9th August 2022 07:22

Nor any glass you bought for your shipmates. Heh Heh.

Engine Serang 9th August 2022 07:29

As a Silly Season aside I have not had a Private Message for a long time. Does nobody want to insult me or take me to task anymore? Is tolerance one of the side effects of Long Covid?

YM-Mundrabilla 9th August 2022 09:34

I would have except that I am, and have been for a very long time, renowned for tact, tolerance and diplomacy. :big_tongue:

I blame the Vegemite.

Engine Serang 9th August 2022 11:25

And generosity.

Varley 9th August 2022 12:44

Of course we still want to insult you E-S. Just not privately.

Absence from playtime explained not by C Games (abut which I was wrong. Evidently we do compete under our own colours) but because Sister-in-Law is here with friend and am much taken up with galley and gallantry (attempted anyway).

And we got a match back from the boss. 13 year old played but his Pa (another 'evil of mallet') was working. Much alcohol and food consumed.

billyboy 12th August 2022 23:08

having worked in various engine rooms i feel like to say that it never a clever idea to insult the engineers. "A" they have many ways to get back at you. "B" when they stop the ship stops.
Respect for the "down below crew" is always appreciated by them.
Steward! take another case of Black bush to the engine control room please.

And the occasional 'fib'.
I was unable to send your Vegemite by PM. The jar diameter did not fit the vacuum tube nor did the thread match that wonderful overhead wire thingy where you pulled the string and you had it (as seen in days of old).

Why has the guy on the right got a model of the dome of St Pauls down his shorts?

billyboy 13th August 2022 12:18

They are all well hung lads from the IOM. I mean...mr Varley for one...hung like a bear I heard.

Varley 13th August 2022 16:20

You are mixing my sore head with my underwear. I imagine that is some form of corsetry designed to stop the rider's bollocks forming a scroto-shock absorbing part of a bicycle's suspension.

Or as the Cassab used to say, Ah Sahib same-same e schmally horse.

Engine Serang 17th August 2022 11:43

Some Kiwi guy on with Farage yesterday evening, a sort of a Rum Cove called Abbott. Deeply unimpressive, sent foreigners to Rwanda apparently. Very popular with bankers in ||||||||||Zurich, apparently.

Tmac1720 18th August 2022 12:48

Isn't it strange that no matter how hard you try to improve yourself it always ends in disaster. After a lifetime of debauchery, drunkenness and villainy I thought I should seek redemption and find religion. To this end I approached a local priest regarding joining the Catholic Church. "Ah there are strict conditions" he said "you have to abstain from sex for 30 days to prove you have the moral fortitude to join the Church" 30 days later I was back and had to tell the Priest that I had failed the test. "Father I was doing well for the first 29 days but it was tough going. Then I saw my wife bent over the freezer and I just lost control and ripped her knickers off and made wild passionate love to her on top of the freezer" "Ah my son alas you have failed the test and are therefore banned from the Catholic Church" "Doesn't matter" says I "I'm banned from Tesco's as well"

I'll just get my coat and if anybody wants me I'll be in the pump room.

Varley 18th August 2022 13:22

30 days? Seems a short time to me. A very short time. But things are looking up. The instruction booklet from the Spire Hospital Manchester specifies that I may have sex whenever I feel like it. I just hope Mr. Kim's opinion of the 'procedure's outcome' wasn't as optimistic as the author of the pamphlet.

(No one accepted my invitaion for croquet and food. Sorry but the last of the gammon went yesterday and that's the last of it. Over 19 stone by the time the festivities were over so a month of dieting underway).

Engine Serang 18th August 2022 15:42

I don't blame the papish mob for blackballing you, no one of the rank of Chief should be shopping in Tesco and only a heathen would darken the door of Lidl or Aldi. Set sail for M&S and your soul and belly will feel the better for it.

Varley 18th August 2022 16:14

M&S? You'll be telling us next that you've got an F&M in that heathen hinterland.

Engine Serang 18th August 2022 21:53

We have 2 local Tea Blenders, Thomsons and Bells and in addition all the mainstream PG Tips, Typhoo, Taylors, Twinings, and Irish Lyons and Barrys from Cork. F&M would be entering a mature market and we are willing to taste should you have any influence. Good food and drink we have in abundance, in fact the Memsahib and myself are going to FX Buckleys tomorrow evening for a nice bit of steak and youse are all invited.

170 Driver 19th August 2022 16:26

Whoa whoa whoa.

No Yorkshire tea ???

What kind of operation is this you`re running ?
