Most excellent idea Tom. He deserves a nice treat. Get chief steward to make sure all the maidens are bevied up and introduced to him.

Tmac1720 6th February 2018 16:17

Oh ho what's this ???? be kind to the oul scabby injuneer day is it...???? :chuckle: well whatever it is I shall enjoy the company of all of you in the px lounge for a noggin or three :pint:

It pains me to say it and if I am ever asked I shall deny every word but I value your companionship and friendship more than you could ever know, each and every one of you. I'm proud to be in your company :thumb::thumb:

Damn, he's drunk already. Either that, or he means it. We all feel great affection and loyalty to the dear old ship.

Group hug, all hands join in.

Oie, mind where you are putting your hands!

Dartskipper 6th February 2018 19:22

Those are some wonderful remarks, Chief Scabby Knuckles. It is an honour indeed to enjoy your company, and to share a few noggins and yarns.

If you need any help with duties in your noisy empire of perpetual motion, then I'm sure I will be able to round up a few volunteers and send them down to assist you!:chuckle:

Steward, there are some empty glasses that need filling.

billyboy 7th February 2018 00:17

"noisy empire of perpetual motion" Hmmm I think I like that phrase Dartskipper. I remember and engine room with twin GM's was a bit like that ha ha

I can only say the same for all the crew, both present and past.

Now to get down to serious business --- Oh! Young lady, you wondered how we make this fine vessel to turn around --- please allow me to show you the steering gear. (This is the only vessel I have ever served on that has a mini bar, water bed, and subdued lighting on the steering flat.) :supercool::supercool:

I was very touched by these comments Tmac and also those you made earlier re nurses. Please have a drink of your choice at my expense. :pint:

billyboy 7th February 2018 11:11

watch out for the big one with glasses. She got a funnell and a length of rubber tube in her bag.

A tour of my ship?...certainly young lady, please, follow me then. Now where to start!...oh how about I show you my private owners suite first.

McCloggie 7th February 2018 14:54

Well the dance does seem to be going well with FJ utilising the steering gear flat and Sir William in his owner's suite.

I am off to show my young lady the Master at Arms handcuffs and restraints!

McC

Dartskipper 7th February 2018 20:58

This young lady seems intent on demonstrating her examination techniques on the chartroom table. She volunteered me to assist her, and she does have a very strong grip on my arm, so I may be gone for a little while.

Excuse me. I was the one who suggested a dance but it seems that everyone else but me is having fun. Where is the nearest Army base?

billyboy 8th February 2018 11:54

Just hold your horses RED17 Tmac is up in the funnel suite getting into his tuxedo gear as we speak. He will be so clean you may not recognize him at first.

Farmer John 8th February 2018 14:35

C'mon, Red-17, it's just we don't want to sully your reputation.

We don't give names.

The nearest base would be Colchester Barracks, the home of the Essex Regiment. It's also a "Correctional Centre," (i.e. the Army Prison for defaulters.) Plenty of squaddies up for an evenings fun and high jinks, I'm sure. Just be careful which door you knock on.

Ah! My little wallflower, my little lotus blossum, my jewel of the Nile, we didn't recognise you in your ball gown, and dancing pumps. What a vision of delight you are! Bestirring and warming the cockles of my heart. May I have the pleasure of this dance with you?

Shame on you Butterfly, I'm not interested in squaddies, nothing lower than a Lt. Col. :princess:

I appreciate that Farmer John. All I hoped for was a dance and a wee kiss. :very_sad:

You may indeed kind sir. I must however be vigilant because my fairy godmother has told to look out for a handsome stranger in a tuxedo. I am hoping that 'look out for' is a warning for good and not evil.:cupid::shock:
