New Quiz

Just a couple to change the heading which has been around too long.

I have to say I did not understand either of these questions but I do have the answers but how or why is a mystery.

1.What is the value of 8x78x7?

2. What is 102102?

Over to you.

1. 4368
Where the order of operations includes two identical operations then one works from left to right.
Could there be another solution?

2. Not a clue - Maybe one of the six digit (hexa) paint numbers...

1. Seemed simple enough ............... (but is there a but?) :brain:
2. No bloody idea.:confused::huh: but AI says;

In the context of angel numbers, "102102" is believed to be a message from your angels, suggesting you are on the right path and to trust your intuition, while also encouraging you to embrace new beginnings and trust in your abilities.
Here's a more detailed breakdown:
Angel Number 102:
This combination of numbers, 102, is seen as a sign that your angels are communicating with you, often during challenging times, and that you are being guided and supported.
102 Meaning:
Love and Partnership: It can signify the potential for new beginnings in love and the importance of trust and open communication in relationships.
Manifestation: It encourages you to focus on manifesting your goals and aspirations and to believe in your ability to shape your own reality.
Guidance and Support: It's a message that you are on the right path and that you can trust your intuition and inner guidance.
New Beginnings: The number 1 represents fresh starts, while the number 2 signifies partnership, suggesting that you are on the path to new beginnings in love and relationships.
102102:
While the specific meaning of 102102 is not explicitly defined in angel number interpretations, it can be seen as an amplified version of the message of 102. It could be a stronger affirmation that you are on the right path and that you should trust your intuition and embrace new opportunities.

So there .......................that will learn you!!!!! .

Here are the answers as given to me by the web site. I can get the first one but the second is still a mystery to me.

Answer 1 = 56.

Answer 2 = 100.

Neville

Malcolm G 5th April 2025 13:57

1 - yep a mystery.
2. Nearest I could find was 101 decimal = 10202 base3.
(102102 base-3 = 308 decimal.)

Malcolm G 5th April 2025 13:59

A simple one to follow…
What would you put between 6 and 7 to give an answer which is greater than 6 but less than 7?

That’s the one :bounce:

A lucky coincidence, it featured in a recent pub quiz about two weeks ago. I didn’t solve it that time :pint:

Makko 8th April 2025 20:24

Well done! But my answer was equally valid - This could be the reason why I got "escorted" out of a pub after a quiz night (Q: Which country has most place names with X in? My answer: Mexico, Quizmaster: China. My argument was that Chinese don't use X! [Roman Font, not Chinese characters]).

81 x 9 = 801
How can that work? What needs to be done to correct the equation?

Hawkey01 10th April 2025 10:25

I am amazed. Answer as follows =
81x9 = 729.
729+81 = 810.
810-9 = 801.

Malcolm G 10th April 2025 10:47

Malcolm G 13th April 2025 13:49

Well, thank you Neville for have a go but it’s not Maths at all….

Answer:

Dartskipper 14th April 2025 10:54

So why didn't Geoff from "Down Under" solve it?
