Furness Withy's s.s. DIGBY of 1913
 

My next project for "Wanted on Voyage" is the obscure (hence my interest!) s.s. DIGBY of Furness Withy, built in Hartlepool in 1913 for the Liverpool-Newfoundland/Nova Scotia run. She went on to a remarkable 53-year career as DOMINICA (Furness), BALTROVER (United Baltic) and IONIA (Hellenic Mediterranean).

For this project, I am looking for photos of DIGBY as built, in particular, any interior photos. "The Shipbuilding & Marine Engine Builder" of July 1913 had a feature on her with plans and photos which alas is not available on line.

If anyone has photos they are willing to share for this project, it would be tremendously appreciated.
