New BP LNG Ships
 

I thought I would add a thread to liven up the BP section of the site. The BP part of SN is/was a good read and the main reason I signed up to SN many years ago.

I have just had a look at BP Shipping's website, and they are having a new class of LNG carriers being built by DSME in Korea. The class is the Partner class, and the first of six ships, British Partner, was delivered in May. According to the description, they are BP's largest LNG ships to date and have the most efficient engines, utilising boil off gas from the cargo.

All under lease.
