Evans, Ball & Co.

Hi, I'm caren. Searching my family tree. Found my ggrandfather was a seaman. Looks like he was mostly on ships owned by Evans, Ball & Co. out of NYC. He was shipwrecked in 1882, I have his diary. He died onboard the Brig. Robert Dillon off the Georgia coast in 1897. I'd like to find records about the crew during his life time of being at sea. Maybe I'd get a clue about his parents. His diary lists some names.
