John Dransfield Ex Blue Funnel Engineer 1972 to 1982. Served on Hector, Kowloon Bay, Glenogle,Cardigan Bay, Laomedon, Obuasi, Degama, Centaur, Ajax and Anchises. Started as engineer cadet at Aulis and finished as 3rd Engineer. Only just found this site anybody out there I sailed with.

Yes, I think I sailed with you. It's a long time ago so my memory is fading. Laomedon on the Blue Sea Line? Or was it Centaur in 1979?

Hi Richard, more likely Centaur in 79 when I get a moment I will dig out my old records. there are a few ex Centaur guys around in Perth, Alan lees, Mark Tranfield, Andy Buttrick, Roy Aitken and a few us still catch up from time to time. Remember any others?
