Reviving my fathers 'adventures'

My name is Britta, daughter of Ole Hansen (died 2005) who was a sailor on oil tankers all over the world from the early 50's till the early 60's. I'm trying to reconstruct his voyages, before all sources are lost. My mother is helping me, but I m sure there is a lot she does not know... I'm trying my luck on sites like these...

Britta,

Welcome to SH. If you can give more information - ships names etc maybe we can help with your search.

Last year I asked for information about a ship my Grandfather sailed on in 1920-1930 and within a week I received two replies that had so much information I was amazed.
If you give a little information it may very well help. Good luck in your search.
