Vehicles carrier Lake Taupo can also be seen to the far left below. Beyond this vessel, directly in line, I can see where I lived beneath a hill. From the top of this hill I had a wonderful view of the harbour.

My son is 3rd Engineer on Sea Princess and they were in Auckland about 4 weeks ago. They are back there next on 11th Nov.

After I packed up on the coast I worked for Fletcher constructions in Auckland in the 60s we built the new [Then} container wharf, great job, among others.
