I think it was because the day before there had been altogether too much - 68 to much. I think those of my father's generation were not far off the mark when the consensus was 'what you try first determines you taste in bed'. Whilst their solution was to encourage a kindly tart into initiating their sons as soon as the first acne erupted may no longer be main stream, I am sure we do want to discourage experiments that might bend them away from normal. No shame to any party if that happens anyway but far easier to tread the conventional path if happy doing so.
