Hello.

Hello i am Bob and have been sailing for almost 35 years.
It is a hobby for me to look ad old ships and to update some of the ships
i been sailing on.

Hi ! Bob,

Welcome to SH -- hope you enjoy the voyage.

Just a quick question - when you say "sailing" do you mean as with sails, or just on boats/ships generally?

I've done both, as have probably many of our other contributors, so would be interested in what you have done.

Perhaps you knew, or knew of Paul Elvstrom?? The eminent Finn sailor ?? I have sailed bigger boats (94 ft.) but raced Fireball dinghies, and Sea Spray cats for many years.

Sailing is sailing, though, no matter how big, or small the boat.
