My Dad was there during the war on Lanchaster bombers
as s rear gunner [ tailend charlie ] he meet my Mum there
who was also stationed there in the WAAF . she was a local
girl from St Columb Minor .

They are loading depth charges most likely getting ready for anti submarine patrol over the Bay of Biscay.
