Meetings, thank goodness I never went.

My Grandfather was promoted to head of department many decades ago. First meeting cancelled all other meetings. The best meeting strategy I ever came across, all meetings were held standing up in rooms with no furniture, often a corridor. You don't have many meetings on a farm. |
I used to look forward to the bi-monthly Works Committee meetings at work. I got a shift off, a free lunch and drinky-poos with higher management who hated us really!
On one occasion I got a remote operated fart gizmo and fixed it under the table where the station manager's secretary sat. I don't know how we contained ourselves, watching the reactions. Happy days! JJ. |

Was down the farm today, it is "that time of year" if you are a tup. The three of them followed me for miles, I was quite nervous. Then I thought of all the nervous ewes I have known. They don't like shearing or being dosed for worms, you understand. |
That sounds a bit Corporal Jonesish, Farmer J!

Don't panic!

My old man used to tell me that the best number of people at a meeting was ‘3.’ Where one fails to turn up, and another gets run over by a bus. That way one bloke gets to make a decision !
