today I helped my wife on with her bra.

A young man should, indeed, be practiced in the mechanical fixings of such articles. If you don't know how to put one on, how do you know how to take one off.

And should you want to 'identify differently' in the future it is handy for that too.

I trust your good lady didn’t have to help to get it off you!
