I served my apprenticeship with SS@A, stayed until Mates. Then went to Aussie and worked on the coast with Union Scream. Up to the far east with Kie Hock Shipping. Back to UK. Sailed with Shell for tanker experience ( never again ) After Masters went to Bristol Steamship and spent a few years with KSC until they wanted me to work for the Saudis - bye ! I loved KSC, great people, spent three years at Hyundai, S.Korea. Then various foreign flag. Worked on BR ferries, and then went to Nigeria. Came back to UK and worked as a forwarder, and then went to USA.
Now have a small Port Captain, surveyor business in Texas
