I have been a member in the past but for some reason I had to re register anyway I started my sea career in 1963 my first was S/S Athelbrook sailing out of Georgetown Guyana, then joined S/S Sunwalker (Saguenay Line) in 1965 as Messman then 2nd Steward, Sun Brayton as 2nd Stwd. then joined Harrison Line in 1969 as Asst. Stwd. sailing out of Barbados, then 2nd Stwd.ended up as 2nd Cook and got married in England and signed off in Avonmouth, worked on the Busses for a short while, worked in a laundry (Brooks Cleaners as a Fitter) went to college and studied Mechanical Engineering then Quality Control then worked at TRW as Q.C Inspector. Moved to Canada went back to college studied Marine Eng. and worked on the Lakes.
Now retired.
