My name is Bob Smith,

I'm writing a memoir. The early part of my life (when I was 16-to-21 years old) was in the Merchant Navy. After the obligatory 2-3 months at the Nat. Sea Training School, Gravesend, I spent five years (1960-65) on P&O passenger ships. The ships I served on in order were: Iberia, Arcadia, Cathay, Stratheden, and Chitral. The Iberia, Arcadia, Cathay as a bell-boy. The Stratheden as a bell boy, asst Steward, and PRS. Finally I was PRS on the Chitral for 2 years.,

Looking forward to meeting anyone who were on these ships. In particular, I can remember some of the stewards/crew on the Chitral (1963-65).
