Posting images
 

How do I go about attaching an image to a new thread or a to a reply.
I've tried a couple of times here but the selected image does not appear on the page before posting, so how can I tell if it will actually be posted?
It's really frustrating, especially as on that 'other' site the process is easy!

Create your post either as a follow on from an existing thread or, alternatively, start a new thread as you have just done, Then:

• Go advanced.
• Manage attachments (a bit down the page).
• Drop down menu will appear.
• Choose the photo from your computer.
• Upload pic (takes a few seconds) and file reference will appear in the drop down menu when loaded.
• Close drop down menu.
• You will/should get a file reference on the bottom of your draft post but just submit and see what happens.
• Hit 'Submit reply'.

Hope that I haven't missed anything.

You can always edit/delete the result of your post.
