Having read more recent reports of life aboard the recently overhauled SN site, I nipped aboard to see for myself, once again. I sent a rant when I dropped in a couple of weeks ago about the Gallery not operating efficiently, or indeed at all in some respects, which is disappointing for a vessel newly out of dry dock.

However, I am somewhat mystified to have received a "trophy" for all my contributions before I packed my kitbag and hopped ashore.

Ah well, it's nice to be appreciated, if only by an electronic brain somewhere in cyber space.

Have you looked inside the cup. No lavatorial 'Billet doux' I trust.

It would appear that I am the 'top contributor'.
Most of the contributions are for telling other members how to work the bloody thing and explaining what is wrong and why, so I suppose that in itself says something.

Congratulations on your notable achievement Roy, an example to us all.

Nothing untoward on first inspection, but to be safe it might be wise to use some sanitiser on my hands, just in case.

Beyond logging off from SN how do we actually close the account?

Only option is to get yourself banned and that hasn't happened lately.

Perhaps the points awarded have the same monetary authenticity as the $10 million residing in a Nigerian bank account we may have been kindly informed of by a very distant relative of that country's Minister for Financial Affairs.

Oh drat. I was just about to start raising the funds to make the release payment so that the monies could be transferred. Grandma's antique Victorian porcelain tea set lives on.
