Roger Loads

I am an ex Bank Line apprentice. Joined the 'Southbank' in November 1952.
Paid off my last Bank Line ship, the 'Tweedbank', 3rd Mate, after 2yrs 5 days, in November 1959.
2nd Mate on John I. Jacobs "Beechwood" July to December 1960.
2nd and 1st Mate on various United Baltic Corporation (UBC) vessels from February 1961 until the 2nd May 1965 when I "swallowed the anchor" and came ashore.

30yrs in the finance industry followed by 16yrs as S/E finance broker.
2012 I finally 'Retired'....that's when the work starts!!!

I have been trying to make contact with Mike Lindsell, ex Bank Line, for several years, ie since 2007. He lived in Perth. His wife, Carol, died and the last communication, in 2007, informed me that he was going to visit Carol's old school, "Northlands" in Buenos Aires, for a prize giving for an Annual Book Prize which is sponsored by him in memory of her. Any news will be appreciated.
