Hello from Belgium
 

Hello all,

My name is Freddy, ex-Navy, and retired maritime journalist (60+) but still in the running.
Like most other members, I have come here from that other site, where the Team that operated SN did a great job. I’m absolutely convinced that this (new) site will also bring sea going people from around the world together, in the same sailors spirit !
I use to say / write :
If you have never been at sea, I will not explain to you what the sea is, because you would not understand.
If you’ve ever been at sea, I will not explain to you either, ’cause you will know exactly what it is.
