Just joined after quite a bit of soul searching, been posting on Ships Nostalgia for quite a few years. Became a bit disappointed in the niggly comments made by some of the long serving posters and have decide not visit that site again. So here goes! Same thing goes for me Les. I periodically do look at the SN sight, but the same old moaners keep on posting the same old rubbish, I just can't understand that they haven't yet grasped that they're not going to change anyone's mind. The saying about "empty vessels" was never better illustrated, and in a few cases a sense of humour would certainly help.

Enjoy both,and other sites, don't think that there is much moaning and groaning on SN as,say, post Brexit vote....but as others have said, quieter over here.

Thank's guys. What I didn't mention was the fact that I was also a bit fed up with all the H.M.S.s in the photo gallery. Grey funnel line should have had its' own section aka the fishing boats.

The Gallery over here has loads of Hawkey01's tankers and freighters to look at. Not many grey funnel jobs just yet!
