Old images, old ships.

SS Rayandaman, here Indian flagged in 1957. I was probably intent on a picture of the bridge and Rayandaman was just dressing the foreground. Howrah bridge still stands, though rusted from the generations of spatters of acidic betel juice, but these antique vessels have vanished. Such ships were commonplace. If only I had known the future . . . She was Clyde-built for the China coast. https://www.shippinghistory.com/gall...&imageuser=697 https://1513fusion.wordpress.com/202...howrah-bridge/ |
Hi Harry, sadly you haven't uploaded the photo to your post, maybe try again or upload to the gallery
best regards, Andy |

There must be something I have not grasped about uploading images - the years do tell . . . I'll now read the faqs and set up a gallery/album thing. The pic was already in my gallery. Sorry for the confusion. I'm ok with triodes and pentodes, and valve gear in general. But chips are best with eggs and brown sauce. |
Attaching Photos
Harry,
Merry Christmas to you. To attach a file or photo, click on the Reply to Thread button and you will see a screen with a reply form on it. In the header line to the Message box, to the right of the Font selectors (Type, Size, Colour) and Smilie selector you will see a box with a paper-clip symbol, which is the Attachment selector. Clicking on that will bring up the normal screen for browsing your files etc to locate and select the photo you wish to add. PS For some reason that selector does not seem to be provided on the PM creation page, only the URL selection is provided there, which may be your problem. |

Attachment 2035 Rayandaman upload again. Thanks for the advice, Ron. I managed it - after a fashion . . .
