his sports car is a SINGER.
I think the plane behind is a Bristol Type 156 Beaufighter

My Dad was stationed there during the war on Lancaster bombers
he was the rear gunner " tailend charlie " he meet my mum there
who was a St Columb Minor girl . she was in the WAAF,
