Didn't realise that the Rolls-Royce MT-21 concept went back to 1947. You would have thought even us Brits would have managed to get it work correctly in time for the Type 45s entering service over 60...

Can't remember the full details but there was certainly was a problem with the cetane number and I think also fines but once it was established that fuel couldn't be part of the engine related claim...
