MAPLIN ex: HMS POLSHAM

Seen passing Tilbury on the 29th May 1979

Built as Ham class minesweeper HMS POLSHAM, converted to survey ship and renamed MAPLIN '67 and operated by the Port of London Authority (PLA)

Woolwich Ferry

The Woolwich ferry was suspended on the 5th October for a couple of months whilst work is carried out for the arrival of two new ferries.
The three old ferries have been sold for scrap in France,...
