As for the Argentinian tango, the Argentinians swear by their legendary Carlos Gardel, and accepts no real competition. Svein, La Paloma was the very first tune my guitar teacher taught me back in 1958. When I joined the Medway Saints(!) Skiffle Group the following year, we included it as an instrumental in our - dare I say...."repertoire"....

ES, I liked Helen Shapiro - a strong voice and not-bad songs in the day.
