Beware the quotations of Marcus Aurelius. They rival Churchill's in number but, like many of that great man's, were never his. Bob's one does appear in Meditation attributed to the good General.
"A collision at sea can ruin one's entire day". Not Thucydides. A great man would not be so optimistic.
