Like you, the "little grey cells" are fast receding as the memories begin to fade!
I sailed with WOW, Carstairs, his son-in-law Telford, McCourt and Billings.
I did the old Duke, Queen (17 months straight, incl 6 months "doing" Viet Nam on secondment to the US Navy).
Then the Mere, Monarch, Laird, Queen (again!) Septre, Sovereign and Knight ... when the latter 3 were switched to Anco
and the chemicals outward /edible oils homeward voyages began in earnest.
Have you visited the "Tankers" forum on the old Ships Nostalgia website?
Worth a visit - as there are 5 pages under Athel Line overseen by 'treve', who's collated all the Athel gen,
and from where I got all the knowledge about the reunion, old names etc.,
