My Dad had a black 4 door 1937 Wolseley sedan (Straight 6 engine). Dead ringer for a cop car, and seing he was a member of the Corps of Commissionaires, had a black uniform with a black uniform cap, and could easily pass for a copper when driving the car. Needless to say we had a whole pile of deference when driving around.
