This kinda reminds me of my first ship at sea where the skipper was undergoing his last trip and a clean record, and under extreme stress to keep it that way.

One night I heard him muttering, while standing in the corner of the wheelhouse that nobody paid any attention to him anymore.

If you want to do that it's OK by me, but in order to satisfy the change in arrangements, I'll have to tell the two Los Angeles class subs that we have picked up a Russian sub on our accoustic gear and are taking a circuitous route to lead it astray as it appears to be following us. They'll have a lot of fun, and probably develop ulcers looking for it.
