Privatisation has worked so well by enhancing the performance of the country's railways and the utilities (water, gas, electricity) that it is now time to outsource our military operations and bring the increased efficiency of private enterprise to the rather stick-in-the-mud naval element of our defence activities. As a further step to modernity, the Royal Navy will be replaced by the RFA in providing the liaison between the MoD and the civilian contractors.
