A familiar vessel, sister to some I spent many happy hours on in the 1970's. Familiar sound of the twin Gardner 6LX and 2UC gearboxes.

Western Lady III, ex RML497, is the last survivor of the Fairmile RML's that saw passenger service and is now in the Royal Navy Museum in Hartlepool undergoing preservation for permanent display.
