They have to into the Building Dock as opposed to the Belfast Dry Dock methinks. This needs very good planing which, God forbid, (sarcasm) might actually involve the Pilots who actually know what they are doing!
The gate to the building dock is a barge like structure of 91 metres in length and 6.6 metres in depth so requires three small tugs to manoeuvre it into place.
The Dock Sill is only 4.9 metres above datum so ships have to come in on the rising tide with the gate being shut behind them, you really only get one go so weather and tide height have to be on your side!
Most of the work will be done by sub contractors.
