Frederick Charles Hey b. Halifax 2.6.1874. Dis.A Number 873388.
There is s WW1 medal file for him stating dob 18
94 but it is the same man. The file can be downloaded from the National Archives in Kew from piece BT 351/1/62256 -

He has 6 cards in the Fourth Register of Seamen 1918-1941. His CR10 has his id photo. If he continued to serve in WW2 then there may be more records in BT 382.
