thanks John. Trouble is I have been banned from driving, my wife has a broken ankle and
cannot drive to go searching for a cable etc. I wonder if there are any members in my area Bridgnorth, Shropshire to visit me and possibly get a cable maybe from PCWorld or computer shop. My Wifes laptop is only 2 years old and doubt it would have a connector for an old fashioned connector cable.
