I read a piece yesterday that said Men over 60 and Women over 70 should take statins as a precaution against stroke and heart attacks. I wonder why then, that my GP has not mentioned it when I see him which is quite often. I was thinking of asking him next time I see him. But after reading your post I don't know whether to or not.
