Was at my parents house yesterday and managed to poke the phone in through the cupboard door of my old bedroom - and there it was!
Unfortunately for Health & Safety reasons that is as near as I can get for the foreseeable future.
I always took it to sea with me, but never wore it once - if I had ever made it to 3E, I am sure I would have worn it for standby's on the manoeuvring platform
- just like in the movies.
As it was, my nephews wore it more than I ever did when they were kids.
But it is still there in case I ever get the call to go back
