Great comical actor.
I read today that
'It Aint Half Hot Mum' couldn't be repeated today because it was outdated and politically un-correct. (I suspect all of us here are outdated, so f***ing what ?)
I find that strange because as I remember the series it was a send up. And it sent up just about every thing, the Army, History, the Empire, Class, Nationalism, Racism … you name it, it got sent up.
Have we really got to the stage where we can't send anything up anymore ? … If so, we're in more trouble than I thought.
